Anywhere and everywhere around are smoke and fire. The stench of death hangs in the air. Then out of the fire and death emerge seven strong tall furres. To the far left is a tall handsome canine with blond hair and blue and green clothes stained in blood. His name is Kee Endarvin. Beside him stands a tall refined feline with black furre and blood red hair. He carries his sword Magebane with pride. His name is Lord Fishbone. Next to him stands a canine with burnt orange hair and the build of a warrior. His name is Talson. In the middle is a proud feline with black furre with a golden cape and red hair. His name is Gambitt. Beside him stands a feline tall and has the prowess of a great warrior. His name is Cass. Next to him stands a feline with feline with light hair, light furre, and black clothing. This furre shows prowess and refinement. His name is Eiji. And on the far right stands a canine with a brilliant mind and a deadly sword. His name is Merran. They walked with pride and honor as they emerged from their battle victorious.
They put away their weapons and grin at each other. Then Gambitt says, "Another typical day at work eh?"
They let out a hearty laugh and then Fishbone says, "Hey lets all get drunk what do you say?"
Again they let out a hearty laugh and head towards Mycroft's bar. They arrive at the bar and the bartender Falcon greets them with a smile. They nod to him and have a seat at the bar. Fishbone drives his dagger into the bar and says, "Seven bottles of vodka for me and my friends here"
Falcon immediately grabs seven bottles of vodka and puts them on the bar. Each of the furres grab one as Fishbone pays the barkeep. They take a swig and Cass' mate Kayliya, Fishbones' fiancé Lynnea, Talsons' mate Shadowpaw, and Gambitts' wife Donde walk into the bar. Each of the furres walks to their lovers and gives them a kiss and a smile. They all sit at a nearby table then Fishbone yells out, "Make that four more!"
Falcon grabs four more bottles and sets them on the table for the furres. Fishbone kisses his fiancé and smiles at her. He then says, "So how have you been?"
She smiles wraps her arms around him and says, "Not much, what about you?"
"Oh sa...", He is interrupted with a deep passionate kiss from Lynnea. He then smiles and kisses her once more.
At the same time Cass turns to his love and says, "You have no idea how much I love you..."
She softly runs her fingers down his cheek and responds with a smile, "Oh I think I do" She then kisses him gently on the lips. Cass immediately responds by kissing her.
During that Talson runs his paw through Shadowpaws' hair then gives her a neck and shoulder massage. She smiles, gently wags her tail turns her head and kisses him.
Also at the same time Gambitt stares into Dondes. She asks with a smile, "What are you staring at?"
He then grins and says, "Your eyes...they are like stars sparkling in the night."
She blushes and Gambitt kisses her passionately causing them both to fall off their chair. They all laugh and take another swig of vodka.
Then the door of the bar bursts open and staggers in a musteline with his shirt covered in blood holding his ribs in pain. Everyone stands and says, "NICK!"
Everyone rushes over to him as he falls to the ground. Gambitt kneels beside him and looks at his wound then says, "Don't worry you'll be alright. What happened to you?"
He coughs up some blood and says, "Don't lie to me. I know and you know I won't make it.", again coughs then continues, "It was...it was...Towerrrrr........", With that he passes away in Gambitts arms. Gambitt lowers his head and says, "Tower? but he's supposed to be on our side" then Fishbone says with a confused look on his face, "It couldn't be Tower. If it wasn't for him I would have never have met Lynnea. We must have heard it wrong." Gambitt replies, "No we heard it right but how can Tower betray us?"
Late at night on his island home Fishbone trains. His is so filled with anger that with a single kick he knocks off the head of his training dummy. He trains filled with rage. He runs the dummy through before Lynnea walks into the room puts her arms around him and says, "Go to bed. It's not healthy to be up at this time of night."
"How can I sleep? I need to train. In the morning I will kill Tower. He betrayed me! He betrayed you! he betrayed us all." He then puts his sword away and leans against the wall.
"Is there any way to convince to get some sleep?" Fishbone says nothing then continues to train. "Just don't get yourself killed. I love you."
She walks out of the room and he continues to train till dawn. He heads towards Mycroft's' bar and when he arrives he sees Gambitt, Cass, Talson, Kee, Merran and Eiji waiting for him. Fishbone then says, "I am going to track down and kill Tower you cannot stop me. I came here to see if you were with me."
He is then followed by silence, but then Cass stands and says, "I'm with you" he is then followed by Gambitt, then Kee, then Eiji, then Merran, then Talson. Fishbone smiles and says, "We, united can overcome any foe."
They grab their weapons and head out to find Tower. They ask many a furre but no one knows his whereabouts. Until they come to a old furre who tells them that Tower is in the cave of fire. He vanishes into thin air leaving the seven furres with a confused look on they're face. They turn around and they are no longer in the town of Meovanni. They stand before vast mountain and they decide to climb it since they have no choice. Once they make it near the top they see a cave. They look inside and see burts of flames coming out of the ground then Eiji says, "Well here we are. We better be careful when we go inside."
They then proceed to enter tha cave one at a time. One after the other they make it through the flames. They then find them selves before a cliff with molten lava below. Towards the far east edge of the cliff they see a small wooden bridge that leads to a small island of rock with some kind of throne on it. Seeing no other option they proceed to cross the bridge. On the other side they see the old man sitting in the throne which looks like it was crafted from the skeletons of other furres. Smoke surrounds the old man in the throne and he turns into a younger very large musteline wearing blue with the essence of eveil in his eyes."Tower" says, Merran with anger in his voice.
They draw their weapons and Gambitt says, "Get down from that throne you coward!"
"Coward? Your calling me a coward? Your the coward. Seven on one isn't what I call bravery. I will fight you one on one and I pick who fights first. I choose him." He points at Fishbone and a grin comes on Fishboens face as he says, "Gladly, But no weapons"
"Deal"
They drop their weapons and approach eachother in honorable combat. Fishbone makes the first move as he attempts to sweep kick Tower but Tower with quick reflexes jumps over in time. Tower immediatly retaliates and grabs Fishbone and throws him into the Throne causing it to fall from its placing. Fish gets up shakes his head in suprise as he immediatly attacks again. He sweeps and succeeds this time as tower falls Fish attempts to step on him but Tower rolls out of the way. Fish kicks him as he gets up and then again and again causing Tower to get closer to the edge of the island and closer to falling in to his demise. But then Tower draws a dagger from his boot flips Fishbone arong and stabs him in the back. He then whispers into his ear, "Never trust the bad guy" Before Fishbone collapses to the ground he asks, "Why? Why did you betray us?" Tower then whispers, "I'm not Tower" he then throws him to the ground and Gambitt rushes to him and Fishbone says, "I'm not gonna make it am I?" Gambitt shakes his head no. "Well do me one favor. Tell Lynnea I love her....and its not really Tower. He passes away and Gambitt is so filled with rage that he draws his sword and says, "What did you do with Tower?" the being then responds, "I'll show you" Then out of no where appears a cage hanging over the lava and lays Tower unconscious. Then the being then takes its true. Gambitt thinks it just disappeared but its true form cannot be seen by furre eyes. Then suddenly Gambitt is knocked down causing him to drop his sword. He immediately gets back on his feet. Then Cass suddenly has an idea. He whispers to everyone else and they pour their canteens into the lava causing a lot of steam. In the steam they can now see a figure. The being is then stunned and Gambitt takes advantage of that. He rams him with his elbow and the being is flung into the lava killing it.
They are then teleported back to Meovanni including Fishbones body and Tower. Gambitt tells Kee to go tell Lynnea of the bad news. The next day after his burial Gambitt, Cass and the rest kneel by his grave. Gambitt says, "Good bye old friend you lived and died with honor." He then places the Magebane on his grave and walks away. Then a twist of smoke appears around the tombstone. It dissipates and a ghost figure of Fishbone appears sitting on the stone. They all look up in suprise the ghost gets off the tomb stone puts one paw on Gambitts shoulder and says, "I'm here to say good bye to all of you. I will not see any of you for a long time I hope." He then faces Gambitt and says, "Good bye my friend. To you I am especially thankful. You avenged my death and I will always miss you." Fishbone then hugs Gambitt and moves on to Cass. "You, my brother have always helped me when I was in trouble and I will never forget you." He hugs Cass and walks over to Eiji. "You were one of my best friends. You were always kind and appreciative to me. I will miss you." He hugs Eiji then walks on to Kee. "Kee my good friend and partner. You always stood by me in battle. You helped me in more ways then you know. Good bye" He hugs Kee and walks on to Merran. "You are probably the smartest of us all. I made a mistake fighting that creature and if I was even close to as brilliant as you I would still be alive today. So long." He hugs Merran and walk up to Talson. "You were a great friend and a better warrior. Good bye. He then backs away and says, "good bye all. You were all great friends and warriors and I will miss you all. Now if I can speak to Lynnea in private before I leave." They then walk away and Lynnea approaches with a tear in her eye. She runs up to him and Fishbone holds her in his arms. She then says, "I told you not to die." he then responds "I know. I know. I should have listened to you." She laughs he looks down into her eyes. He kisses her and says, "I'm sorry I can't stay. But I have to leave. I will wait for you. Good bye my love." He fades into thin air and she kneels before his grave lays a rose next to his sword. Tears fall from her eyes and she says, "So long my love." She walks away with tears in her eyes and in the wind she hears, "I love you Lynnea."
