How do I retrieve a lost password?

You cannot retrieve an old password, but you can change it.

If the email address you entered when creating your character is valid, you can change the character password with our password changing system.

To make sure your email address in our database is up-to-date, click here to read how to change your email address.

If you have not entered a valid email address to your character, email service@furcadia.com and explain your situation. Please attach the full name of the character spelled exactly as it is and the new password you would prefer.

Should I be worried about security issues when using Furcadia?

Yes and no. Furcadia itself is designed so that no one can send a virus through it, copy your files, or do anything at all to your computer. However, there are other ways to intrude your computer system, for example, sending you a virus in an email or through an ICQ file transfer. We strongly suggest that anyone using the Internet should make sure that they have an up-to-date virus scanner and a personal firewall installed to their computer. Personal security software is available at Symantec, McAfee, F-Secure and ZoneAlarm.

How do I report a bug?

Please read and fill out the form at http://www.furcadia.com/bugs/ to report a bug. If you are unsure if something you've discovered is a bug, try posting a question to the Technical Support section of the Furcadia Community Forums.

How do I transfer wings, dragons, phoenixes etc?

The transfer commands are no longer in use. Please use the trade commands instead. Click here for a full explanation of trade commands.

Please be aware that the furre who receives the the wings traded is unable to trade the wings, triwings or butterfly wings again for the next 30 days. The furre who receives the dragon or phoenix is unable to trade them again for the next 90 days. Once these items have been transfered, they belong to that furre. It's up to them to decide when and if they will trade them back or to another furre. Be SURE that you want to trade your item, and/or that you trust the furre you trade them to to give them back if it is a loan. Staff cannot do anything about a furre who refuses to give an item back once it has been traded. For your own sake, be certain.
