Changing your E-mail Address

Furcadia requires all Furcadia characters to register with a working email address. To confirm your email address, we automatically send you an email containing a confirmation code. Within two weeks from your registration, you will have to enter the confirmation code into our system, or your character will be frozen until you have confirmed your email address. Frozen characters with no confirmed email address will be automatically removed after one month's time, unless the character has a Digo Market item.

Anyone under the age of 13 is not legally allowed to provide any personal information without their parent's permission. This includes email addresses, so if you're under 13, please have your parents change and confirm your email address for you.

To find out what your character's email address is set to, log in to Furcadia with the chosen character, type: info and press <enter>.

If your email address is out of date, you've accidentally registered with an invalid email address, or you wish to change the email address associated with your Furcadia character for any other reason, you can do it with the setemail command:

In order to change the character's email address, log in to Furcadia with the chosen character, type: setemail [email address] and press <enter>.

After you have updated your email address, a confirmation email will be sent to the new email address. You'll have four days to enter the confirmation code into our system before your character will be frozen until you do.

Please note: If you have previously blocked Email Confirmation Reminders via the Mail Filters link, you will not be able to receive the confirmation letter! In order to fix this, please reactivate your email address.
