Furcadia's Egyptian celebration, Festival of the Sun, honors the Prime of Felines, known as M'Rill. Starting June 21st, our Festival of the Sun includes many spectacular features such as a barge ride along the Nile river, the Lighting of the Fires of Neith celebration, games of Senet, and an interactive marketplace.

The Events Team decided that this Festival will be the first of its kind. Instead of releasing all of the contests at one time, we will be released one at a time, to extend the festivities throughout the summer and allow everyone to become involved in the games. As such, those wishing to partake in the challenges of the Festival of the Sun will have to keep their ears pricked and eyes open for details as each contest is released from the Festival Vault! It's our hope that prolonging the Summer Festival competitions will entice M'rill and curry her blessings throughout the Festival grounds! Perhaps we may even see her, throughout the festivities...?

Contests - Theme - Under One Sun

• All entries are to be sent to the specialized submission form!
• The contests will be prejudged before posting and finalists will be posted on the Festival page and in the dream.
• Any entries not meeting the requirements will be disqualified and none are guaranteed a prize.
• All entries must conform to Furcadia's T+ standard or lower.

Dream Contest - Deadline: July 10th - View The Entires

• The theme for this year is 'Under One Sun'.
• Each dream is required to utilize the Cookie DS in a significant way within the realm of their dream.
• Contestants do not need to make their entries 'summer' themed.
• Read the Dream Contest Guide and follow the rules and guidelines.
• Rules and Requirements- read carefully!
• Only one entry permitted. Masters and Regular categories will be judged separately. Exhibition (non-judged) entries are also accepted!

• Unity Doodles are letter arts based on one of the words provided in our list. You may manipulate the letters as you see fit, provided you make a picture that reflects the word of your choosing.
• List of words, please choose one: Unity, Sharing, Community, Understanding, Grace, Tolerance, Green, Conserve, Kindness, Wildlife, Animals, Peace, World, Recycle, Respect, Furcadia. Or, if you have another word that relates to the theme and you feel strongly about, please do feel free to do so.
• Contestants do not need to make their entries 'summer' themed.
• Must not greater than a 500x800 (height by width) graphic, in .jpg, .gif, or .png.
• Only one entry permitted. Masters and Regular categories will be judged separately. Exhibition (non-judged) entries are also accepted!

• Character must be new and unused--contestant realizes that the character submitted may be used by anyone.
• We are looking for the build, hair color, etc., as well as their quirks, mannerisms, and especially history.
• Contestants do not need to make their entries 'summer' themed.
• Diversity is encouraged! Older characters, exotic, ethnic, flawed, and the unusual--qualities that set a character apart from the usual protagonists are what we're looking for!
• Only one entry permitted. Back story is limited to 7,000 characters.
