Species: Ferians

Cuddling Wolven

"Only Reen could still assume a furre form. She sometimes entered the towns as a wandering bard, learning all the news, including any sightings of other Ferians."
From 'Night Music' by Talzhemir

Ferians are sentient beings that walk on four legs. They live in the world of furres, but beside furres, not with them. They live by a set of codes and laws all their own. Many Ferians hope some day to reach The Wylde, a place of safety and bounty. While most Ferians mean no harm, the acts of a few evil ones have led furres to a longstanding fear and distrust of their four-footed neighbors.

"By the time the farmers and their children reached the ti'Varri manor house, their hearts felt close to bursting. They cried out, 'Ferians are coming!' They were taken into the stone dwelling, and the thick doors were bolted shut."

Yes, Ferians ARE coming, as the newest premium avatar on Digo Market! The first in a new series, the Wolven will be on sale soon with the release of the new Wylde map.

Wolven

"Reen said, 'Each evil act we do may destroy a piece of our mind. He was that way when he came to us. Most Ferians end that way... Do you know the Wolven Ferian Law-song?' Surprised that such a thing even existed, Rexa shook his shaggy head."

Closely resembling canine furres, but more primal and wild, Wolven are often seen hunting in the woodlands and high places near furre settlements. Traveling in packs, rarely seen alone, a group of Wolven on the hunt is an awe-inspiring sight indeed. Lawful beings, Wolven most often adhere to strict hierarchies and deep, ancient laws within their packs. On cold cloudless nights when the moon is full Wolven howls pierce the night, sending fear and excitement through young furres hearts. Old tales tell of the lucky few Wolven who can shift to a furre-form and pass among the cities, perhaps as a traveling worker or bard.
