Spring Festival! All furres are invited to help Jujinka bring in the Spring, March 23rd in the
dream in the Festival Grounds. This festival is about
, meaning everyone should come in character prepared for a Medieval Spring Festival. There will be spring events including games, egg hunts, booths, and Maypole dancing.
Players are encouraged to organize events on the stage; it's also rumored that some
will attend the festival. Feel free to have picnics in the Festival Grounds or throughout Furcadia, or even visit the

Contests - Theme - Coming Out of Hibernation

◊All entries must be received by 11:59pm FST on April 6th.
◊The contests will be prejudged before posting and finalists will be posted on the Festival page and in the dream.
◊Upon submission, you grant Dragon's Eye Productions permission to post your work and share it with the community. Dragon's Eye Productions may post, edit, and distribute creative contributions made through contests freely to players and for promotion of Furcadia.
◊Any entries not meeting the requirements will be disqualified and none are guaranteed a prize.
◊All entries must conform to Furcadia's T+ standard or lower.
◊Please note that while players may enter more than one contest, only ONE entry is accepted for each contest.

Calling all artists! Effects are a brand new feature on Furcadia! Your mission is to create three Effects for use public use in dreams! You do not need to follow theme for this contest--we want to see awesome Effects!
These effects will be made public for free usage!
◊All entries must have 3 effects--extra points for animation.

◊Please include a set of screen captures for your effects!
◊Bundle your .fox file and your screen captures into a .zip file for submission!

Writing:
A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry. It consists of 17 syllables, in three phrases containing 5 syllables, then 7, and then 5, respectively.
◊Haiku must follow the festival theme of "Coming Out of Hibernation."
◊Haiku must be T+ or lower.
◊Haiku may be up to three stanzas long.
◊Please use simple html markup such as <br /> to designate line breaks and any emphasis on words, so the Scribes do not have to guess.

Yawn! Growl! Flitter! We're looking for the sounds of Spring! Capture them in a sound byte and send it in! Please include at least 3 sound bytes, and up to 12!
◊Specifically, we are looking for sounds that could be used in Dreams.
◊Participants may submit between 3 and 12 sound bytes.
◊Each sound byte may be no longer than 6 seconds in length.
◊Please note that these sounds should be the original recordings by the individual submitting them.
