Our Business Affiliate Infire Business Ventures, Ltd. (IBV):

The Information We Don't Collect:

No one from our staff or volunteers will ever ask you for your passwords. In order to keep your characters, accounts and information safe, you should never give this information out to anyone.

We never collect or store your credit card number or any other information that could be used to initiate a payment from your payment account. All payments to us or to IBV are made through reliable and secure third party payment services, such as CCNow and PayPal. Please note that those payment services may collect and save your credit card information.

We do not log private conversations between players. Other players who can hear you may do so though.

We promise that our software will never contain or install any kind of adware or spyware programs. In addition, our software never downloads or executes any extenal third party programs under any circumstances. Therefore, it cannot be used by anyone to infect your computer with viruses, trojans, adware or spyware.

The Way We Use Information:

We use your email address to create, confirm, and identify your game account.

We use age information to keep children safe from adult areas. We also use them to place limits on sales and trading for those under 18. More information for this on the Parent Page

Adult Verification Tag information is used to verify your legal age. Some areas and material in the game are only accessible by those who have this tag. You may blank out your social security or ID number in the photocopy. This information is then stored in a locked filing cabinet in our office. Not having adult verification does not restrict adults from most areas or content. We charge a small processing fee for this service.

We use IP addresses and other computer specific information to prevent access by those who have broken our rules.

Windows version, screen resolution, and other statistical information about your computer is used to help us plan what configurations to support in future updates.

We use the information you provide about yourself (or someone you are ordering for) when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. Our trusted retail sales partner Infire Business Ventures Ltd collects most of this information from our customers, and can access it as well. IBV follows privacy practices described here.

We offer personal messages which can be used when giving a gift to another person. Information you provide to us for personal messages is only used for that purpose, and it is only disclosed to the person receiving the gift.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

Your registration email address and addresses we collect during placing an order are used to send you our email newsletter a few times a year. We also use them to send you notices if any of your characters or premium items are about to expire. We also use your email address to let you know the status of any orders placed. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can opt-out of receiving email from us by following the link included in every e-mail that we send to you. However, this will prevent you from being able to confirm new characters using that email address.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and game. For example, we keep track of total hours of usage of the game, total bandwidth usage and hits on the webpages to help us with our planning.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Access to your personal data is accessible only by the personnel who need to access it in order to perform their jobs. All access to the personal data is password protected and secured with an SSL or SSH connection.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy and Safety:

Protecting the privacy and safety of children is especially important to us. Children under 15 are not allowed to create accounts. Their parent/legal guardian is required to create the account for them if they wish their child to play and the parents must supervise their play. Parents/legal guardians must also provide a parental password and email address when making the account. Children under 15 cannot make purchases from us. Consequently, parents control what information is provided to us about their child. Those under 13 cannot make trades within the game. This protects them from being tricked out of items that their parents have purchased for them. To further protect teens, we limit the maximum amount that may be purchased and traded per week and per month.

In addition, we keep records of when someone has broken the rules and what actions were taken. We also keep records of help requests. We use this information to find those who have had behavior problems or who have needed help and evaluate what further action might be needed on their behalf.

Parents will also receive emails telling when a child under 15 has taken any action in the game such as trading, creating new characters, and joining the volunteer program.

Our Commitment to Meeting Safe Harbor and EU Privacy Policies:

We are committed to making sure we meet all the requirements of Safe Harbor and the EU privacy policies. We are members of the Better Business Bureau and have BBBOnline Privacy and Kid's Privacy Seals.*
