Jujinka's Spring Festival

Announcing Jujinka's Spring Festival! All furres are invited to help Jujinka bring in the Spring, March 20th in the Spring Festival dream in the Festival Grounds. This festival is about persona play, meaning everyone should come in character prepared for a Medieval Spring Festival. There will be spring events including games, egg hunts, booths, and Maypole dancing.

Players are encouraged to organize events on the stage; it's also rumored that some Primes will attend the festival. Feel free to have picnics in the Festival Grounds or throughout Furcadia, or even visit Digo Market for a trinket for your sweetie. We hope to see you there!

The theme requirement for the Dream Contests is "Grow." Contestants do not need to make their entries 'spring' themed, though spring certainly does lend itself to the theme! Please remember that all Furcadia contests have a standard of Teen+ (T+)!
Read the Dream Contest Guide and follow the rules and guidelines.

There are two new contest categories in our art section of the contest, for a grand total of three options for Furcadia artists to participate. Only one entry is permitted, and Masters and Regular entries will be judged separately.

Exhibition: This category is for those who would like to give examples, without actively participating in the contest (this section is not judged).
Master: This category is for Elder Pixels, Head Pixels, First Place Winners from recent art contests, and artists that have been commissioned by Dragon's Eye Productions. The prizes are larger, the competition is fiercer! Push yourself to see what you can do!
Regular: This category is for those who do not fall into the first two categories! Winning first place in this category moves you up to the Master category in future art contests!
Artist contributes three remappable portraits of an animal species (male, female, gender-neutral). Species do not have to be chosen from those currently available as Furcadia avatars.
Portraits must be submitted in the order of male, female, gender neutral, in a zip file containing both one .fox file, and one image of your portraits side by side in .gif, .jpg, or .png.
Entries must be the original work of the artist, made specifically for this contest. By participating in this contest, the artist agrees that their entry piece is free for anyone to use.
Participants may upload an edited version of their work until the contest due date. If you do so, please put the date of the edit in the notes section so the events team can make sure the right art is posted.

Picture must be submitted in one of the following formats: .jpg, .gif, or .png.

What is a limerick? A limerick is a five-line poem that is witty or humorous. The standard form of a limerick is a stanza of five lines, with the first, second and fifth having nine syllables and rhyming with one another, and the third and fourth having five or six and rhyming separately. Take a look at this example from Felorin!

There once was a lass named Rei-Jin
Her awards show about to begin.
She'd gotten some prizes
Of all shapes and sizes,
But forgot to invite some furres in!

The suggested theme this year is "Grow!"
Contestants do not need to make their entries 'spring' themed, though spring certainly does lend itself to the theme!
One entry per player is accepted.

All contest entries submitted grant permission to Dragon's Eye Productions to showcase their work on Furcadia.com and/or Furcadia, as well as use the entries for promotional purposes.
