Snowfurre Contest

Description: Sometimes tracks are less than desired, especially when certain small enterprises decided to cut costs by "accidentally" replacing a village's shipment of beautifying serum with a cheap diuretic. But it's okay, maybe they haven't found out. ...yet. Time's a-wasting.

Description: A metaphor for the tracks we make not only in the snow, but in life. We may go our separate ways in life from time to time, but sometimes there are no tracks more ideal to follow- or, in this case, play in- than those of the people who love you.

Description: Behold! 'Tis the wondrous snow turtle! Look on in amazement as he makes his fantastic journey through the snowy wilderness to a new snow covered territory!

Description: She sat on leather seat and murred. She wanted to try this beast out for a long time. It's soft yet sharp lines made her shiver by just looking at it. She slid her gloved paw over black handle and twisted it. And at that moment only one thing kept her mind occupied .... "HOW THE HELL DO YOU STOP IT?!"

Description: Tracks in the snow are not the only ones that we make as individuals. We meet others, we grow, and we create histories and make social magic. I leave my mark by creating memories with my family, and more so with my sweetheart, Candice, and I 'see' her (though we are a country apart) by playing out a number of characters (as depicted here) on Furcadia - a game of which I am thankful for. To be able to spend time with her, at least as an avatar, makes XMAS merry.

Description: For my piece of art, I chose to draw Danival herself. The Lady of Beauty, Prime of Mustlines, she is thought of as one of the most beautiful primes. She is a mix of skunk, weasel, marten, ferret, and ermine, so that she may acompass all mustlines. I drew her looking over the fresh, snowy landscape. In her hand is a snowball, marked with a paw print. Why draw her though? I felt bad that I never finished my "Color Danival" entry a couple years ago for Danival's Winter Fest. Plus, she is pretty. P:

Description: Watch as a cute little child Furcadian stomps around in the snow, dressed up as father christmas. I feel that where as other Furcadians may have more unique designs, this is an easier opion as to what furres would possibly rather do in reality. As one of my first attempts at using paint, I tried really hard to get it to look like it does, and at my young age of 12, and not able to get GD so easy, I desperately needed to enter this contest. Description: Oteji, a young winged wolf born in Egypt, has never seen snow. After being mercilessly kicked from his pack, he decided to travel abroad. Upon meeting a new friend, he stayed with them and finally, after a year or so, he has his first look at snow. Traditional, penciled and inked, colored, and re-inked.

Description: The picture is taken like a polaroid of a scene in which furres and furrlings take part in the event of decorating and Lighting of the Tree. You could probably even imaging the "Come 'round! Come 'round!" pierce the winter night promising a fun festive tradition of the holiday.
